Mackenzie is a Research Coordinator in the SPIRIT Center, primarily working with Dr. Monroe-DeVita on First Episode Psychosis (FEP) projects and interventions, including support for the New Journeys Network.
Before joining the SPIRIT Center, Mackenzie worked as a Research Coordinator at UW’s Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences on the development of stereotypes and self-esteem in elementary-age children, and as a Post-Graduate Fellow at the National Institutes of Health on several neurobiology studies.
Mackenzie received her BA in Neuroscience from Colorado College in 2016, and her MA in Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology from University of Washington in 2023. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate.
