Where can I access care?
Within Washington state, there are a number of resources devoted to providing care for individuals experiencing psychosis:
- If you or a loved one is newly experiencing psychotic symptoms (within the past 2 years), you can learn more about early psychosis care in the stateor see a list of treatment programs.
- If you or a loved one is living with psychosis and has high service needs, Assertive Community Treatment is a multidisciplinary team-based care model providing treatment, rehabilitation and support services in the community. See a map of sites here.
- If you are interested in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for psychosis (CBTp), a specialized talk therapy shown to help people manage psychotic symptoms and pursue goals, see map of trained sites in Washington.

- If you are interested in mental health referral service for children and teens 17 and younger, see Mental Health Referral Service for Children and Teens a free, telephone-based referral service funded by Washington Healthcare Authority and operated by Seattle Children’s. It connects patients and families with evidence-supported outpatient mental health services in their community.
